Howard has been a trusted advisor to businesses, trustees, individuals and family offices for decades. He serves as outside general counsel to many businesses, handling and coordinating their legal needs.
Since his two major “bet the company” trial victories in the early 1980s, clients have turned to Howard to handle litigation and, equally importantly, to resolve disputes before they get to court. He also handles business, financing and real estate transactions and is known for providing creative, risk-avoiding advice.
More than two dozen times, Howard spoke at CEB programs to educate attorneys on recent developments in business law and updates on civil procedure. He enjoys mentoring other attorneys, and is proud of the fact that Bidna & Keys’ work comes from referrals from current and former clients, CPAs and other attorneys, and not from marketing. As as tried and true UCLA Bruin, he is honored to have many USC graduates as clients, including a past president of the USC Alumni Association.
Howard is passionate about modern art, modern/midcentury architecture and UCLA Basketball. He has been married to Beth since 1991.
